libstaden-read1 software package provides Staden library for reading and writing DNA sequencing results, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstaden-read1
libstaden-read1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstaden-read1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstaden-read1 *
You will get with libstaden-read1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
